  • Journal of Socio-Economic and Religious Studies
    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2021)

I am pleased to write this note on the publication of the first issue of ‘Journal of Socio-Economic and Religious Studies’ (JSERS). It is a quarterly research journal, to discuss and analyze the issues and challenges in the field of research based on various aspects of social, economic, and religious matters. The journey of JSERS from its initiate till the publication of the first issue is unforgettable; it was exciting but difficult for the whole team. The biggest challenge for the newly launched journals is to maintain Higher Education Commission (HEC)’s criteria and quality because authors avoid publishing in the new and unrecognized Research Journals. This situation can be handled very easily if HEC starts including those Volumes or Issues of the journal which we submit for the recognition process. However, by Almighty’s blessings and joint efforts we tried our best and now the journal is in your hands.

Our next target is to recognize the journal from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Hopefully, soon we will get this target too. For the same we are also in line with indexing agencies and our website is already based on Open Journal System, available at http://jsers.org/. Your comments and suggestion are always welcome because we believe on the continuous development in education and research for the betterment of our society.

I would also like to show my gratitude to all my team members, all the friends, and colleagues. It was definitely a group of enthusiastic people, who made this work possible.
